We booked Emily to play at our wedding in July 2019. Emily performed for us prior to the ceremony, during the ceremony, and throughout the drinks reception and meal.It was a pleasure having Emily play for us.
We met almost a year before the wedding to share ideas on the kind of music we would like. Emily has a brilliant repertoire so it was great to have a mixture of classical piano as well as more modern/popular pieces (and musical theatre songs, of which we requested quite a few).
Emily kept in regular contact leading up to the wedding to ensure we were happy with the set list and to offer suggestions of pieces that might be crowd pleasers.
Emily plays absolutely beautifully. One of the first things I remember about arriving at the venue on the day of the wedding was hearing Emily on the piano, I’m sure it was a Chopin nocturne drifting through the corridors. It was wonderful hearing her play throughout the ceremony. All of the guests commented on how great Emily’s playing sounded. It was a great comfort during the day hearing someone play the music we love with such perfection.
We would absolutely recommend Emily for anyone looking for a wedding (or any event) pianist. Emily can play a broad range of styles and is great at gauging the mood in the room, knowing what style of song would be best placed to be played.

Emily recently provided the music for our wedding in October 2022. Despite our original wedding being cancelled due to covid in 2020, Emily kindly honoured our deposit when we finally rebooked 2 years later, which we thought was extremely kind of her.
